I started writing and recording our liveaboard life once we hopped aboard our first sailboat, in 2018. It started as a simple blog, a journal. It then turned it into a successful blog and I am now writing a book. I took various courses, made many mistakes and had to deal with all the frustrations of finding my voice and figuring out what really mattered to me and was worth sharing. 

No Texting and Tacking was born out of my desire to share how our amazing family adventures changed me and helped me grow. I don’t want these stories to be forgotten.

I don’t want to be remembered as, “Yeah, that crazy aunt who lived on a boat, pass the salad, please”. 

I am also a bit tired of telling the same stories over and over again. Writing them down is a convenient and lazy solution 🙂
